What does CalenDR actually do?

Based on how much information you can share with us, CalenDR will customize a reminder schedule to let you know what vaccinations & screenings you have upcoming for the rest of your life!

Simply let CalenDR know some basic questions about yourself, some health history, and let CalenDR calculate all future upcoming screenings & vaccinations forever!

Is there a cost to use CalenDR?

Nope! CalenDR is free for all users, and hopefully accessible to the world soon!

If you would like to donate to the website, all proceeds are spent on the operation costs of keeping CalenDR up and running and free for all other users.

How does CalenDR function?

CalenDR will calculate all necessary & vital screenings & vaccinations based on;

  • Your preferences
  • Your health history
  • Your age
  • Other necessary factors

You then have the choice to select between SMS or email notifications to be sent to you at a timeline of your choice to remind you of any upcoming medical checks you should schedule!

What Timezone does CalenDR use?

For all scheduling, and other time based services, CalenDR uses Easten Standard Time (EST).

Account

Can I sign up multiple people to an account?

For now, CalenDR operates on 1 user per person, but we are working on bringing the ability to register multiple people on a single account. Stay tuned!

How do I modify my account information?

To modify account information, such as name, password, country of residence, etc, all you need to do is sign into the CalenDR website and go to the settings page from the dashboard. Then, simply click on any setting you wish to modify and enter in the new information!

Some basic information is not able to be modified, as it would compromise scheduling. If it is required to change these, delete your account and register a new one.

How do I delete my account?

After logging into the website and navigating to the settings page from the dashboard, there is a button below all other settings titled "delete account". Click on this button and confirm with your information to permanently delete your account.

Privacy & Terms

Is my account information going to be shared?

Nope! All information you submit to CalenDR for your health needs will be private and secure to the website only. Your information will not be shared to the public.

If I delete my account will the information be deleted too?

Yes, after deleting your account all of your information will be deleted from our database as well.

Services

Does CalenDR provide any other services?

For now, CalenDR functions as a reminder tool for specific cancer screenings & vaccinations. We are always looking at more ways to help people with managing their health, stay tuned for future projects!

Does CalenDR schedule medical appointments for me?

Unfortunately no! CalenDR does not have the ability to schedule actual appointments and it is ultimately up to the user to schedule these appointments with their family practitioner.

Dashboard

What is the dashboard?

The dashboard is a quick home screen that summarizes all your information, upcoming recommended medical checks, etc.

What does it mean if i have no upcoming appointments?

If the dashboard gives you the message of "No upcoming appointments in this time span" or "No upcoming cancer screenings in this time span", it just means that from today to your selected time range, there are no appointments or cancer screenings. For example, if you have selected 6 months these messages would indicate there are no appointments or cancer screenings from now to 6 months from now. To modify your selected time range, go to the top right of your dashboard and click on the dropdown to select from any of the options given to you.

What is the appointments tab for?

The appointments tab is for if you want to have a list of specific days for appointments. The user can set the specific day and a day they want to recieve a notification by clicking the add appointments button, and the calendars for each day are for visual representation. All notifications are sent out 12am EST.

Settings

Why can't I change certain account information?

Certain basic account information such as age or sex are not able to be modified after account creation, simply because they would influence the scheduling process in a way we cannot account for. If it is required to change these, delete your account and register a new one.
